The Campaign: Minnesotans United for All Families

OutFront Minnesota is a part of the
Minnesotans United for All Families campaign.

Defeating the amendment to ban marriage for same-sex couples is important if Minnesota is going to be the kind of place where people are free to be who they are, love who they love, and live free from violence, harassment, and discrimination.

We are a part of the Minnesotans United for All Families campaign to defeat the amendment. Together with Project 515, we launched the campaign within hours of the final legislative vote that put the amendment to ban marriage for same-sex couples on the 2012 ballot.

OutFront Minnesota works closely with the staff at Minnesotans United and Project 515 to develop the strategies to defeat the anti-marriage amendment, and to organize leaders from various political parties, communities of color, faith, labor and other progressive groups.

Additionally, OutFront Minnesota's Organizing Department is bringing its unique strength to collaborate with Minnesotans United to develop the field plan for the campaign. We take an active role in the campaign organizing strategies to recruit and develop leaders across the state in Community Action Trainings and support leaders as they plan and execute their work in their communities.
