OutFront Minnesota Nominated
for
Nonprofit Advocacy Award

OutFront Minnesota has been selected as a finalist for the 2006 Nonprofit Mission Award in Advocacy. This award recognized advocacy as one of the most effective and unique roles of nonprofit organizations. The winner of this category should have an effective advocacy strategy, demonstrate success in advocacy efforts, and have a significant impact on the organization's constituency. The highlights of OutFront Minnesota over the last twelve months include work to defeat the proposed anti-marriage amendment, the success of justFair Lobby Day, Community Action Trainings, and the Resolution Campaign. The winner has not been announced, but OutFront Minnesota is proud to be among one of the finalists. Thank you to all of you who contributed to an outstanding year! The awards ceremony will be on October 4, 2006.
